I created The True Witness as a non-denominational un-affiliated platform dedicated to proclaiming truth in a world of noise and confusion. Inspired by the words of John the Baptist—“I am the voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Make straight the way for the Lord’” (John 1:23)—my mission is to call people back to the heart of God, without the need of allegiance to any institution or religious tradition. I seek only to witness to what is true, to shine light in darkness, and to prepare the way for the Lord in today’s world through scripture, reflection, and faithful living. One more thing, I may get something wrong, I am imperfect, but I know the One who is. I desire that one day, when I get to heaven, you will be there too.
I was born in Auburn, New York, and lived my early years on a farm in Weedsport. My family moved to Florida in the early 1970s. I came to faith in Christ in 1994. Since then, I have been a Bible teacher and counselor with Bay Area Teen Challenge, a Christian school Bible and History teacher, and served as a brand ambassador and adjunct professor at Trinity College of Florida. As a guitarist, I have led worship and preached throughout Central Florida. I earned a B.S. in Counseling from Trinity College and a Master’s in Biblical and Theological Studies, with a concentration in Strategic Communication, from Liberty University. Currently, I try to make myself useful as a realtor on Florida’s west coast. Paul the Apostle was a tent maker, I sell houses.
In 2013, I wrote and published Watch Your Step!: Barefoot in a Broken-Glass World
